Zedd’s debut album coming October

Baby-faced German Zedd’s been killing it in the hype stakes for a while now. First making waves with high-profile remixes for the likes of Lady Gaga and Fatboy Slim, he quickly went on to release his first single Shave It on Skrillex’s OWSLA label in 2011, before signing to Interscope Records and releasing the single Spectrum earlier this year.

While his producing efforts have also landed Zedd on our own Stereosonic and Foreshore lineups and have him plotting a back-to-back tour with bud Porter Robinson, the electro-house whizz is yet to release an album. But that’s all set to change with the announcement that Zedd’s debut LP, titled Clarity, is due for release on October 9 through Interscope.

Clarity will feature collaborations with the Big Day Out-bound Nicky Romero, Skrilly’s girlfriend Ellie Goulding, OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder and Porter Robinson, the pair having collaborated on the forthcoming track Poseidon.
