Watch the tripped-out new video for The Avalanches’ ‘Frankie Sinatra’

It’s been an, uh, avalanche of Avalanches news today, with the release of new song Frankie Sinatra plus full details of the long-mythical second LP, now titled Wallflower. The treats keep on coming, with the accompanying video for Frankie Sinatra unleashed on the world.

Directed by Fleur & Manu, the Parisian director pair behind Gesaffelstein’s intense film clip for Pursuit (as well as clips for Drake, A$AP Rocky, M83 and that insane clip for Skrillex’s Doompy Poomp), the video showcases a wild and surreal swamp-set romp in New Orleans, featuring a cast of characters barely keeping a grasp on reality after a dose of tainted ice cream. As you do.

The song features guest verses from Danny Brown and MF Doom, heavily sampling Wilmoth Houdini’s Bobby Sox Idol with a touch of Sound Of Music in the mix as well. Watch the video for Frankie Sinatra below.
