If you’re still suffering from a severe case of Splendour FOMO, we’d advise you to look away now.
Canberra party-starters Peking Duk made their triumphant return to the Splendour in the Grass stage over the weekend, stepping up for an epic set at the Amphitheatre on Friday night. The performance was thick with festival favourites like ‘High’ and ‘Stranger’, and the duo brought along a stack of guests to help them out, including Vera Blue, SAFIA, Dan Sultan, Ivan Ooze and Nicole Millar.
The duo even ditched the synths halfway through to deliver special acoustic versions of ‘Take Me Over’ and ‘Say My Name’ — but they still had more surprises up their sleeves. Towards the end of the set, the Duk revealed they’d flown AlunaGeorge out from London just to deliver vocals on their slaptastic new collaboration ‘Fake Magic’.
It was one hell of a moment — watch it all go down below.
