Voting in the 2014 inthemix Awards is now open

Australia, it’s now time to have your say in the 2014 inthemix Awards. Voting has just opened in our annual celebration of the best and biggest in local dance music, so head over here now to cast your vote for Australia’s favourite artist, club night, festival and more.

Voting will be open until Wednesday July 23, meaning you have bang on one month to make your voice heard. Are you a DJ who hasn’t registered yet? All’s not lost, as registration will remain open until Friday June 27, so if you want to be a contender in this year’s awards and can’t find your name in the system, head here to register now.

This year, the public will decide who will make it into the inthemix 50 poll of Australia’s favourite producers and DJs – including the all important #1 spot – plus the winners of the Favourite Touring Festival, Favourite Event, Favourite Club Night and Favourite International DJ categories.

Just as we did last year, in 2014 we’ve handed the voting of some awards categories over to a panel of industry leaders. The industry panel will decide the winners of Best Album, Breakthrough Artist of the Year, Best Track/Remix and Most Influential Person in Dance Music. A new category, Undiscovered Artist of the Year, will be decided by the inthemix Editors.

We’ll be announcing this year’s results at an invite-only dinner in Sydney in early August with thanks to our sponsors Stoli, Moshtix, V Energy Drink and Budweiser and Student Flights, followed by an official after-party brought to you by Konkrete. Take in all the key info for this year’s inthemix Awards below and head to our voting page to have your say now.
