Ultra Music Festival reveals Phase 2 of its 2013 lineup

Ultra Music Festival doesn’t do things by halves. Last year, the US festival giant brought a who’s-who rollcall of dance music’s biggest names and a casual 165,000 punters to Miami for three packed days. For 2013, it’s going one better: this year, Ultra is staging two separate three-day festival weekends on March 15, 16 and 17 and March 22, 23 and 24, 2013. Talk about an upsize. “This is a unique concept from anything ever done before in our space, as it will be two weekends…two unique experiences,” the festival’s co-founder Russell Faibisch pledged. “There are a lot of incredible plans and surprises lined up for everyone attending our 15th Year Anniversary!”

Naturally, a party that big needs a colossal line-up to match. Sure enough, that’s what Ultra have delivered: after announcing titans Swedish House Mafia (on their final shows together) and Deadmau5 a few months back, in December UMF revealed their Phase 1 2013 lineup. The first batch of names revealed everyone from Armin van Buuren complete with A State of Trance 600 arena to Carl Cox and friends, cult heroes like Boys Noize and mainstage firepower from Tiesto, Avicii and David Guetta. Rounding it out were big names as divergent as Kaskade, Richie Hawtin and Bassnectar – whatever your flavour, Phase 1 had it covered.

But Ultra’s not stopping there. The festival has just announced their Phase 2 lineup, and it’s long – take in the full thing below. New DJs include Luciano, Eric Prydz, the Boys Noize and Skrillex team Dog Blood, Fedde Le Grand and Porter Robinson. On the live front, there’s Faithless returning for a live PA, Snoop Dogg and much more. A host of extra arenas have also been announced, including Space Ibiza, Jacked, OWSLA and Toolroom Knights.
