Ultra Music Festival announce even more artists

While it’s facing some stiff competition from the shifted Winter Music Conference and Swedish House Mafia’s own upstart mini-festival Masquerade Motel Miami, the enormous Ultra Music Festival going down in Miami this March 25th-27th just added a bunch of new artists to its lineup, ballooning the festival out to untouchable proportions.

Joining the already announced headliners of Tiesto, Deadmau5, Cut Copy and David Guetta, Ultra’s ‘second phase’ announcement has revealed a host of new dance heroes like Underworld, Sasha, Moby and Erick Morillo who’ll be debuting a new whiz-bang live show to compete with the other 1001 live dance setups out there. Another attention grabbing inclusion on the lineup comes with famous ‘80s synth-poppers Duran Duran, playing tunes off their 2010 LP All You Need Is Now which was produced by Mark Ronson and includes collabs with Keils and Scissor Sisters’ vocalist Anna Matronic.

Rounding out ‘phase two’ is the details on Armin van Buuren’s A State Of Trance 500 arena at the festival. As well as bringing his celebratory bash to Sydney this April, Armin will drop in on Ultra with trance stars Ferry Corsten, Sander Van Doorn and ATB all playing in the ASOT 500 arena.
