This year, Australia got a brand new trance festival in the shape of Atlantis. The Totem Onelove event took over three cities in winter, with some of the genre’s biggest names behind the decks.
Now, Atlantis is coming back and you don’t have long to wait. The 2016 edition hits Sydney and Melbourne in March and the line-up is huge: Aly & Fila, David Gravell, Giuseppe Ottaviani, MaRLo and Orjan Nilsen are all on the bill as is Ferry Corsten, who comes bearing a world premiere. Ferry will show off his new stage show Gouryella for the first time at Atlantis – a good fit according to the man himself because “Gouryella means heaven in Australian Indigenous language [so] it is fate that we get to launch the Gouryella concept in the country where the name was born.”
Atlantis hits the new and upgraded venue of Allphones Arena – Sydney’s biggest indoor arena – on Friday March 11, rolling onto Hisense Arena in Melbourne on Sunday March 13. Ticket presale starts on Wednesday December 9, with general tickets on sale from Thursday December 10. [Article image by My Media Sydney]
