Earlier this month, Meredith Music Festival revealed that Norwegian disco don Todd Terje would be headlining their 2017 event, joined on stage by his live band The Olsens.
It’s set to be Todd’s first time playing Australia with the full live set-up — something Meredith say they’d be trying “to make happen” for years. Thankfully, the notoriously exclusive festival won’t be your only chance to hear ‘Inspector Norse’ in all its glory: Terje has just announced two Australian sideshows, playing Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Thursday December 7 and Melbourne’s Forum Theatre on Sunday December 10.
The tour celebrates the release of Todd’s latest single ‘Maskindans’, the first from his forthcoming new album. The as-yet unnamed LP will be out in 2018 and follows his body-moving 2014 release It’s Album Time.
General on-sale tickets start at 10AM on Friday 1 September. See all the details below.
