The Island’s two biggest parties ever have just been announced
If you fancy seeing two highly acclaimed international acts in a very intimate setting, with the sea below your feet and Sydney Harbour as your backdrop, then you’d better act quickly and land tickets for the next two editions of The Island Live.
So far the floating bar’s season of summer parties has delivered the likes of Roland Tings, The Aston Shuffle, Young Franco and Set Mo, but now we can announce the biggest double sessions to date: none other than Berlin techno deity Boys Noize and UK crate-digging eclecticist TEED will be on hand to play The Island Live on Thursday 7 January and Friday 8 January, respectively, in their only Sydney sideshows.
There’s a squad of Sydney techno talent playing in support of Boys Noize, including Jensen Interceptor, the Wordlife guys and Motorik crew, while TEED also has an all-star team in support, including peyote techno don Dreems, Melbourne’s oddball disco duo Ara Koufax and Sydneysider Charlie Chux.
Tickets are on sale from $65 including a return water taxi from Double Bay and two drinks on The Island – snap up tickets for the Boys Noize show here and the TEED show over here, and watch the aftermovie for the last party below.
