The first act announced for Tomorrowland 2015 is…

Just weeks after sharing the dreamy preview trailer for their 2015 flagship festival, organizers of Tomorrowland have revealed the first act slated for its three-day program.

The Belgian festival had been hinting at who’d be on the initial line-up on their Facebook page all weekend, but guesses like Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Calvin Harris and even Daft Punk ended up being way off-base…turns out, the first act confirmed for ID&T’s flagship event doesn’t even fall within the realm of dance music.

Organizers have booked the National Orchestra of Belgium, under the guise of ‘The Symphony of Unity,’ to perform for the first time in the festival’s history. It will be, as they put it, “one musical world, where two genres merge.”

With the first act formally announced, all eyes are on the festival as fans await the remainder of the anticipated line-up. Though Tomorrowland Belgium’s dates of July 24-26 are still months away, last year’s initial artist roster arrived around this time, bringing with it names like Above & Beyond, Hardwell, Richie Hawtin, Knife Party, Diplo, Jeff Mills and more.

Watch the first artist announcement below, and keep your eyes peeled for the next names to drop. Tickets for Tomorrowland 2015 are currently on sale through the official festival website. [Photo via Tomorrowland’s Facebook]
