Subsonic Music Festival drop their first 2017 line-up
For the last two days, festival favourite Subsonic has been drip-feeding the first round of acts on their 2017 line-up.
All up 15 names have kick-started this year’s bill, and they’re a quality bunch. Leading the charge is legendary UK experimentalist Andrew Weatherall, who’ll be making the trip down under together with Desolat recruit tINI, techno indentity Daniel Bell, France’s Alexkid and Polish pair Catz ‘n Dogz. The likes of Opiuo, Julia Gover and Dub FX are also locked in for sets.
But that’s only the start of the Subsonic line-up – promoters have advised that that their second round of names will arrive “in early May”. See the full first round bill below.
This year’s Subsonic goes down from December 1-3 at the picturesque Riverwood Downs Mountain Valley Resort, a short drive from Sydney. First release tickets are on sale now from $220 a pop, which buys your way into 72 hours of brilliant music, lake swimming, performance art, workshops and good vibes.
