Sriracha chilli sauce and dance music combine for the best festival idea ever
Are you a fan of that delicious, ubiquitous Thai chilli sauce Sriracha? Then San Jose, California, might be home to the greatest idea for a festival ever: The Electronic Sriracha Festival, which will take place in San Jose’s St James Park on Saturday August 30 with, “2 city blocks, 3 stages of electronic music, 4 bars, and 120 Sriracha-infused dishes,” as the EDM Network reported.
The festival’s website is scant on details at the moment, with the line-up set to be released on July 21 (expect a roster of local San Jose DJs), but the event’s being organised by food truck, markets and music promoters Moveable Feast, who are promising USD$6 drinks and food and 24 live sets between midday and 8pm. As one Facebook commenter put it, “Pasquale [Rotella] get on this.”
