Here are Spotify’s most-streamed dance tracks of 2017

The end of year lists are well and truly raining down upon us, and now Spotify has crunched the numbers to reveal the most-streamed dance tracks of the last year — and the results probably won’t surprise you.

US frat boy duo The Chainsmokers have made it into the ranking three times, with their track ‘Something Just Like This’ topping the list, with ‘Paris’ and 2016 hit ‘Closer’ coming in at #3 and #7 respectively.

Norwegian producer Kygo comes in at #2 with his track ‘It Ain’t Me’, while Zedd and Alessia Cara take out #4 with ‘Stay’ — which was actually written by Australia’s own Paige IV. Plenty of the tracks in the ranking were actually released back in 2016 — ‘Let Me Love You’, ‘Starboy’, ‘Rockabye’ — but have clearly carried their popularity well into this year.

Check out Spotify’s ranking below. Oddly enough, none of these cracked our own list of the Best Dance Tracks of 2017 — see what we chose here (it’s a better list, trust us.)
