Spotify have named 2016’s song of the summer

Drake’s One Dance has landed at the top of Spotify’s Songs Of Summer playlist for 2016, beating out Calvin Harris and Rihanna’s collaboration This Is What You Came For. 

The ranking is based on the global volume of individual streams from the Northern Hemisphere summer period of June 1 to August 31.  One Dance raked in an eye popping 757 million streams, beating out Harris and Rihanna by a paltry 100 million plays.

Australia’s Sia comes in third with Cheap Thrills, and Rihanna and Drake come back with Too Good at #6. DJ duo The Chainsmokers continue their 2016 victory lap by landing the #4 spot with Don’t Let Me Down (ft. Daya). Check out the Top 10 below.
