We’re premiering the new EP from bass star Enschway
Sydney producer Enschway – real name Nic Schweighoffer – has soared to the top of the local bass scene this year, and with good reason.
He’s toured with Perth mates Slumberjack, landed himself a slot at Splendour, appeared on OWSLA’s Beats 1 show and even had a shoutout from trap don RL Grime over Twitter. Then there was that fire remix of Slumberjack’s ‘Open Fire’.
Recently, he’s also signed to tastemaker label Sweat It Out, the home of RÜFÜS and What So Not. In short, it’s been a good year, and it’s showing no sign of stopping with the release of his his new EP, Friendschway Vol 2 EP. Like the first Friendschway EP, it features a stellar cast of Enschway’s producer peers including Kuren, graves and O5CAR.
“The idea of the Friendschway EP is to collaborate with artists whose work I love, but are also my [mates],” Enschway says. “I’d love it to evolve into a series of collaboration EP’s over the next few years; collaborating with friends, and also more underground talent that I feel should have more recognition.”
Friendschway Vol 2 is out tomorrow, but inthemix has an exclusive premiere for you to enjoy right now. Listen below.
