It’s only a couple of months until Porter Robinson and Madeon hit our shores with their huge Shelter tour, and today the shows just got a few notches bigger with the announcement of a couple of acts that will be joining them for the ride.
Norwegian whiz kid Lido and WA native Elk Road have both been locked in as support acts. Lido is coming armed with his debut LP, Everything, and off the back of an extensive North American tour. Elk Road (aka Rory Garton Smith) has quickly emerged as one of the West Coast’s hottest acts with the success of singles Not To Worry and Hanging By A Thread – as well as a high profile spin on Like A Version a few weeks back.
Robinson and Madeon have been touring Shelter since September, playing a slew of shows across North American and Europe Rather than one act playing after the other, the Australian tour will see both Robinson and Madeon sharing the stage in a special “back-to-back live show”. Tickets are on sale now through the Secret Sounds website; watch the six minute short animation for Shelter below.
