Few artists have a track record as good as Peking Duk. Canberra’s Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles went triple platinum with their breakthrough single High, then followed that up with the twice platinum Take Me Over and the gold-certified Say My Name.
Now the boys are back with the song you’ll be hearing all summer long. Today they dropped Stranger, a sun-drenched collaboration with Swedish name Elliphant, who previously lent vocals to Major Lazer’s Too Original. We’d wager Stranger could be the first taste of the duo’s debut album, which they’ve spent this year recording between London and Sydney.
While they’ve spent most of this year on the road overseas, Peking Duk will be back home this summer to show off Stranger. First up they’re playing Newcastle festival This That, then heading to their hometown for Canberra’s brand new Spilt Milk festival, before headlining FOMO Festival in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide.
