Since 1991, Ministry of Sound has served as one of London’s best and busiest nightclubs. Now, it’s coming to Sydney.
On June 10, Ministry of Sound Club will launch at Sydney venue ivy — where it will run every Saturday night, bringing in a different world class line-ups each week. Leading the launch party is ‘High’ hitmakers Peking Duk, who will play the Courtyard while US house legend Sandy Rivera mans the Pool Club. As Ministry of Sound tell it, this marks the dawn of new era in clubbing in Australia.
“Ministry of Sound in London is a world-renowned venue and has been the destination for lovers of dance music for over 25 years,” says Ministry of Sound Australia CEO Tim McGee. “We are now going to bring that same experience and ethos to Sydney. We will be implementing a forward-thinking music policy and making Ministry of Sound Club a haven for good music and a home for both international and Australian artists to connect with their fans.
“Ministry of Sound Club will be the ultimate destination for true lovers of dance music.” MoS Club will replace Pacha, which previously curated Saturday nights at ivy.
It all kicks off on Saturday, June 10 — tickets are on sale now.
