Melboune’s getting an epic one-day techno festival
Summer music season continues to get bigger and bigger – and this time it’s Melbourne getting the goods, with smalltown events bringing the cream of the techno-crop to St Kilda in November.
Russian producer, label head, and contemporary techno legend Nina Kraviz is headlining the event, alongside Berghain’s revered resident Marcel Dettmann. It’s going to be the second time audiences can catch Kraviz this summer, with her being already lined up for Sydney’s Harbourlife.
Dettman is continuing his 2016 hot streak, having just compiled a scorching mix for iK7’s esteemed DJ-Kicks series. Rounding out the trio is Iceland’s Bjarki – a signee to Kraviz’s Trip Records label – who is making his Australian debut ahead of the release of his third LP.
It’s all happening on Saturday, November 12 at South Beach Reserve in St Kilda. Tickets are on sale now – at only $69 bucks – so get your hands on them here.
