Martin Solveig, Laidback Luke and cameos galore: behold the full “BLOW” video
Looks like Martin Solveig and Laidback Luke are ending the year on a humorous note: the music video for their collaboration single, BLOW, has finally been unleashed upon the masses, and – safe to say – it definitely doesn’t blow.
The video reads as a musical infomercial for a fictional product, for which the song is named. BLOW (referred to as “The Spray of Life”) comes as a result of an unfortunate incident in which Martin Solveig gets absolutely pummeled by a CO2 cannon at a festival, turning the mishap around and effectively bottling it into a can of kick-ass.
Between all the homemade YouTube videos of fans doing the unofficial choreography for the song are “celebrity” endorsements from pop culture personalities like Perez Hilton and MTV’s Sway and Laura Whitmore. Also making cameos are fellow DJs Tommie Sunshine, Tommy Trash, Benny Benassi, Carnage, Madeon, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Steve Aoki. Most noticeable guest appearance, however, goes to Dillon Francis, who gets to live out his Zoolander fantasies as a high fashion male supermodel.
Check out the video below, and look out for Laidback Luke and Martin Solveig’s single BLOW on Spinnin Records, as it makes an official release on iTunes on January 6.
