Major Lazer’s new track with Justin Bieber just leaked

Major Lazer’s new collaboration with Justin Bieber isn’t due to officially arrive until Friday, but that didn’t stop one radio station playing it in full earlier today.

Cold Water – the track Diplo has been promising for months – was leaked earlier this morning when a Chinese radio station jumped the gun and played it for the first time anywhere in the world – a move, we’d wager, was not signed off on by team Lazer. Listen to a rip of the track below before it gets taken down.

Diplo first collaborated with Justin Bieber last year on the Jack Ü anthem Where Are Ü Now, which took home the Grammy for Best Dance Recording, went three times platinum in the U.S. and landed at #4 on inthemix’s list of 2015’s best tracks. Adding to the star power, Cold Water also features Lean On vocalist MØ.

In an interview with Billboard last month, Diplo revealed that the next Major Lazer album is due to drop in January 2017. Cold Water is locked in as the LP’s lead single and will be officially released this Friday, July 22.
