Mad Decent’s 2013 Block Party lineup is huge

Diplo sure knows a few guys. This morning, dance music’s everywhere-man unveiled Mad Decent’s 2013 Block Party lineup, and it’s long: as well as the label head himself, Diplo’s bash boasts the crème of the crop of Mad Decent signees, big names from the other side of the hemisphere and an army of talented up-and-comers.

Who exactly are we looking at? From the Mad Decent camp, there’s the Major Lazer troupe, Harlem Shake star Baauer and moonbah king Dillon Francis. Flosstradamus is doing it for the trap fans, joined by HARD Events head Gary Richards under his Destructo moniker, novelty rapper Riff Raff and the ever-thunderous bass pair Zeds Dead. Dubstep-turned-disco don Skream will be heading along, as will his countryman SBTRKT and fast-riser RL Grime, to cherrypick (seriously) only a few names.

The team of recruits aren’t taking it easy, either: the Mad Decent Block Party tour crams in 13 cities over just under two months, kicking off on July 19 in Calgary, rolling through the likes of Vegas, Toronto, Dallas, Detroit and L.A. before winding up in San Diego on September 15. Check out the full lineup and dates below – if it has you sold, you’ll want to grab a ticket when they go on sale from tomorrow if you’re part of the official fan club, or Friday for General Admission.
