Live-stream sets from Stereosonic Melbourne today

Earlier this week, Tiesto released the compilation Dance (RED), Save Lives. With tracks from the likes of Calvin Harris, Avicii, Diplo, Afrojack as well as Tijs’ own collaboration with Bono on a remake of U2’s Pride all featuring on the CD, there’s plenty of firepower in the tracklisting. But as the involvement of Bono may have tipped you off to, Dance (RED), Save Lives isn’t just for fun – it’s all part of Tiesto’s involvement with AIDS charity (RED) and fittingly, all proceeds from the CD are going towards the fight for AIDS.

But the compilation isn’t all Tiesto is doing with (RED). To mark World AIDS Day today, Stereosonic is live streaming sets from the Melbourne leg of its 2012 tour. Kicking off from 3pm today, you can tune in below to catch sets from Avicii, Calvin, Bingo Players, Chuckie, Dash Berlin, Infected Mushroom, JFK MSTRKRFT, Laidback Luke, Martin Solveig, Tommy Trash and of course, the headliner himself.

“When I went to Africa in 2006, I was struck by the devastating effect of AIDS,” Tiesto said in a statement. “Now the world has an incredible chance to make sure that babies are born HIV-free by 2015, and the dance community is going to make a lot of noise to help make this happen.” The stream begins at 3pm today, so if you’re not at the Melbourne show kick back, turn the volume up and enjoy the mainstage from the comfort of your couch.
