Live stream Carl Cox’s final chapter at Space Ibiza right now

Today marks the end of an era: after 14 years at the helm, Carl Cox is officially closing out his residence at Space Ibiza.

To mark the occasion, The Big Man is laying down an epic ten-hour long set, playing vinyl for the first time in a decade. But if you couldn’t make it to the White Isle to farewell the dance legend in person, the good news is that Be-At TV are streaming the whole thing live right now – so tune in below.

“I wanted to take things back and pay homage to all those years at Space spinning records,” Cox said of his decision to spin wax. “I want to show respect to those older tunes, dig out some of my old vinyl and play them alongside new tunes. A lot of the crowd probably won’t have even heard them before, so it’s a way of showing the music is still relevant.”

Cox announced the end to his Music is Revolution residency last year to inthemix, explaining that his decision to end the long-running party was tied to Space owner Pepe Rosello’s departure from the club. “[Pepe’s] contract is up at the club. He’s going to be 80-years-old and will officially be out,” Carl told us. “It gets handed over to Ushuaïa Group across the road and its manager Jan will be given the keys to run Space. And once that happens, everything changes. So I have no desire to stay in that club for any reason.”

Space – the club regularly voted #1 in DJ Mag‘s poll of the world’s best – will go out with a bang next week at their epic closing party, a star-studded affair that will see everyone from Steve Bug and Josh Wink to Anja Schneider and Coxy himself on the decks.
