This July, RL Grime will make his return to Australia with Splendour in the Grass, and he won’t be coming empty-handed.
Today LA’s trap superstar has shared ‘Reims’, a new track that might just be the first taste of his next album. As RL explains: “as u may or may not know, for the better part of the last 2 years i’ve been quietly working away on my second album. can’t explain how excited i am to begin sharing what i’ve been working on… lots of exciting things coming this year.”
RL Grime’s debut album Void arrived in 2014 and cemented his place as one of bass music’s biggest names. Since then producer Henry Steinway has shared only a handful of new songs – 2016 single ‘Aurora’ and his Skrillex and What So Not collaboration ‘Waiting’, as well as a remix for The Weeknd.
On top of his Splendour debut, RL Grime will play four Australian headline shows this winter, hitting big venues in Perth, Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne. Get acquainted with ‘Reims’ below.
