Listen: The Chems and Justice remix Boys Noize

Back in September of 2012, German maestro Boys Noize had a particularly exciting announcement to make. “I’ve got some crazy remix news,” the Future Music Festival gun posted on Twitter. “One of my heroes has remixed XTC!” The heroic act in question was a big one: Alex Ridha had recruited none other than the legendary The Chemical Brothers to put their touch on his track XTC. Also tapped for a remix were Ed Banger heroes Justice, who stepped up to take on Out of the Black hit Ich R U. Today, both remixes have arrived – marking Boys Noize Records milestone 100th release, no less.

The pair of remixes are now up for grabs in 12” and digital form over at the Boys Noize Records website. You can bet Ridha is pleased to have them unveiled: “Man I’m so happy my heroes Chemical Brothers and Justice did a remix for me,” the Future Music Festival gun tweeted early this morning. “Honestly just a few years ago I def wouldn’t believe if that was gonna happen – so crazy!” It’s certainly a fitting way to celebrate the label tearing through 100 releases in eight years – number 99, you might recall, came just last month with the latest Miami Noize compilation.

The big triple digit release comes in the middle of a busy time for Ridha. After wrapping up his FMF touring commitments last week, the techno whizz has taken his Skull live show to Ultra Music Festival, where he’s also been hitting the stage with Skrillex as part of their Dog Blood project. But without further ado, dive into both remixes below.
