Listen: Nicky Romero uploads TomorrowWorld set…and Google Glass POV
The very first North American TomorrowWorld festival took place in Georgia USA from September 27 to 29, and for those who couldn’t be there, we’ve already seen a broad range of perspectives from the festival, from the live stream to the top sets already being on Soundcloud – but none have been quite like this.
Dutch EDM star Nicky Romero took to the stage at TomorrowWorld wearing his trademark Guy Fawkes mask as well as a Google Glass headset – a wearable computer allowing him (amongst other functions) to film from his perspective as he goes through the military precision of the backstage area, takes daps from Sander van Doorn and steps out onto the stage in front of thousands of flag-waving fans (listen to his full TomorrowWorld set below).
Check out the video below – it’s the first in a series of Google Glass-perspective videos to come from TomorrowWorld. Does this mean a future of artist-perspective videos of David Guetta Facebooking with one eye as he DJs with the other, or Borgore swiping through Tinder at the same time as dropping bangers? We hope so.
