Listen: Flume drops the Lorde remix you’ll be hearing for months

“Say hello to the next six months of your clubbing life”: that’s the general consensus on the long-awaited Flume remix of Lorde’s Tennis Court, which hit YouTube this morning.

Predictably, it’s only taken a couple of hours for the Tennis Court remix to absolutely swamp the internet. You can bet it will only get bigger from here: the last time Flume remixed an act this high-profile, the result was his year-ruling take on Disclosure’s You & Me. And arriving a solid eight months after the antipodean superstars first promised to team up to make some “bangerzzz”, this one’s been a long time coming. Wrap your ears around the finished product below.

The Lorde edit is also the first hit of new music Flume’s given us in a while. The Future Classic star’s focus this year has been on touring, with a packed schedule of North American dates keeping him busy throughout the first quarter of 2014. He’s not slowing down yet, either: in the coming months, Flume will tick off dates at Lollapalooza, Pukkelpop in Belgium and famous UK weekenders Leeds and Reading, taking in a couple of stops on the Mad Decent Block Party tour along the way.
