If your peak clubbing years happened when Uffie was queen of the hipsters, Kanye wore shutter shades and MySpace was still very much a thing, we must inform you that it’s time to come out of party retirement.
This year Ministry of Sound are celebrating the tunes that kept dancefloors sweaty between 2005 and 2008 for a special nationwide reunion tour. In their words: “This May-June we’re celebrating that iconic era in clubbing when the lines between electro and house officially blurred, when collars were poppin’, trucker caps were donned and basslines were everything.”
On the line-up are all your mid-noughties favourites: Sneaky Sound System, the Bang Gang DJs, Riot in Belgium, Tonite Only, Goodwill, John Course, Kid Kenobi and more. The party will hit eight different cities in total, from Townsville down to Adelaide, with tickets onsale at 9am on Friday.
