Jack Ü just picked up two awards at the 2016 Grammys

The Grammys hasn’t officially begun for 2016, but Jack Ü are already winners.

In the Grammys pre-telecast – where the award categories not quite important enough to make it to TV are presented – the Skrillex and Diplo superduo picked up two awards, taking Best Dance Recording with their hit Where Are Ü Now and Best Dance/Electronic Album.

The pair beat out the likes of Flying Lotus, Caribou, Disclosure and Jamie xx in their sweep of the dance categories, but there was no bad blood from Jack Ü’s end. “U guys deserve it too,” a gracious Diplo tweeted at his fellow nominees after exiting the stage, while Skrillex shouted-out Justin Bieber songwriter Jason Boyd, better known as Poo Bear.

The full Grammys telecast kicks off at 12pm AEST today, when Taylor Swift will face off with the likes of The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, Mark Ronson and Ed Sheeren for the biggest awards in music.
