Way back in 2014 while he was down under for Stereosonic, Skrillex hopped across the ditch and dropped by radio station George FM in New Zealand. While he was there, he decided to spin a new piece of his handiwork – a previously unheard collaboration with Sydney producer What So Not.
Titled Goh (“cause it makes you just wanna go,” quipped Skrillex), it featured vocals from another Australian, KLP. The track quickly sent the internet into a tailspin, and then for whatever reason, it seemingly disappeared – and Goh never got an official release.
Until, perhaps, now, as What So Not has been dropping a new version of the song in his recent sets. He shared a clip on his Instagram a few days ago, and a longer piece of fan footage of the track has emerged since. Check out the clips below.
It appears that Chris ‘Emoh’ Emerson could very well be hyping it up for an official release. It’s not the only new track that he’s teased: he also recently previewed another collaboration during a set, this one featuring RL Grime, and Skrillex again. Aside from the new collaborations he’s been mixing in, he also took some time during a set last week to drop in a tight remix of the Stranger Things theme.
