HARD is launching a new festival in Australia this year
If you’ve ever admired festivals like Holy Ship or HARD Summer from afar, prepare to get very excited. HARD Events – the brand behind America’s coolest dance gigs – has just announced they’re coming to Australia in 2016.
This summer boss man Gary “Destructo” Richards will bring HARD Australia to town for a run of four shows, hitting Perth, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane. As you’d expect, the line-up he’s bringing with him is first-rate: Canadian bass dons Zeds Dead have the headline spot, backed up by Miami’s GTA, Mad Decent affiliate Ghastly, Rinse FM host Chris Lorenzo and Rezz, the producer we just named 2016’s #1 act-to-watch. More names will be added to the bill in the coming months.
While it’s certainly their biggest outing yet, it won’t be the first time HARD has thrown down on Australian soil. They’ve previously hosted stages at Stereosonic and brought a four date club tour to the country in 2014, the year after throwing an epic house party with inthemix and friends like RL Grime, What So Not and The Bloody Beetroots.
HARD Australia kicks off on December 1 at Perth’s Metro City before rolling onto Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane. You can sign up for access to presale tickets right here.
