Future Music Festival gives us the DFA Records Stage line-up

With the first stop on the hotly-anticipated Future Music Festival tour going down exactly a month from today, the countdown to the big event is well and truly on.

To help feed the excitement, Future have gradually been revealing what we can expect from the various stages: first, we found out that the The Likes of You tent would be hosting Aphex Twin and Sven Vath alongside Die Antwoord, and yesterday the line-up for the PvD-led Evolution Arena was announced. Now, Future have given us the lowdown on the very-cool DFA Records Stage, presented by Smirnoff.

Fittingly, leading the stage is DFA co-founder James Murphy alongside former LCD Soundsystem dude Pat Mahoney. They’ll be ably backed up by NYC project Hercules & Love Affair, electro-pop duo Holy Ghost, as well as Juan MacLean, Benoit & Sergio and Horse Meat Disco.

It’s definitely a solid crew. “There are a lot of artists you’d expect to see at Future Music Festival, but there are also other twists and turns that make it what it is,” festival organiser Brett Robinson told inthemix last month, discussing the 2012 line-up. “The DFA stage is a great example.”

Noticeably absent are DFA-signees The Rapture – but we’re sure Future has a very nice home for them elsewhere in the massive festival. Check out the DFA Records Stage poster below.
