Future Music Festival 2014 tickets on sale today

The time to grab your Future Music Festival ticket is now. Today at midday, first release tickets to Future’s blockbuster 2014 edition went on sale through Moshtix and with the line-up as big as it is, we’d advise against dragging your feet.

With the countdown to March officially on, there’s plenty to look forward to. Set to be back in the country for the first time since mid-2011, Future have locked Deadmau5 in for the headline slot. Ticket-holders can also look forward to the first ever Australian appearance from elusive Swede Eric Prydz, a name Australians have been holding out for a long, long time. Also leading the dance contingent is Dutch dynamo Hardwell, Language hitmaker Porter Robinson, live guns Rudimental, big-roomer Kaskade and UK bass dons Sub Focus and Chase & Status.

Then, of course, there’s the carefully-curated techno and trance arenas. Sven Vath will be back for the sixth year running in 2014, joined by the likes of Dubfire, Maya Jane Coles , Paul Kalkbrenner, Guy Gerber, Brodisnki and Gesaffelstein. Trance fans, meanwhile, will treated to big names like Paul Van Dyk, Markus Schulz and ATB.

Future’s also promising first-rate sound quality: “The festival will also have a major focus on enhanced, state of the art audio and will deliver spine-tingling light shows and crystal clear sound, using new technologies such as audio mapping,” the promoters announced. “In 2014 each and every punter will soak up their favourite artists loud and clear, no matter what stage they’re performing on or where they’re dancing.” It all kicks off in Brisbane on March 1, rolling through Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide over two weekends.
