Future announce new stage and add another name to the bill

All week long, Future Music Festival have been dropping mega announcements on us, and they’re not done yet. Today, FMF HQ have given us another big bit of news: they’ve unveiled the bill for their Supernova stage and added another local to the line-up.

Sydney star Timmy Trumpet will be joining the Future tour in every city, playing on the Supernova stage, the festival’s “mind-blowing, custom built EDM experience”. Naturally, it’ll be headlined by the biggest thing in EDM right now, Avicii. The firepower doesn’t end there: the Supernova stage is where you’ll catch Knife Party, Afrojack, Martin Garrix, Blasterjack, Bassjackers, Robin Schulz, Klingande and Throttle too. That’ll keep you busy.

It’s not just the sound that will be on-point at the Supernova stage – it will look epic too. Future are flying out James Klein, the man who designed Ultra Music Festival’s iconic 2013 mainstage, to create a brand new, bespoke stage for FMF. You can check out the blueprints for that here, and take in the full stage line-up below.
