Flume will be heading home soon to play a string of festival shows over the summer period — and from the sounds of it, he’s preparing to show off some brand new music while he’s here.

“I have time which is a good thing, which means there will be lots of new stuff,” Flume told triple j breakfast about his upcoming shows. “I’m currently working on a whole bunch of new ideas, bits and pieces. Hopefully we’ll be able to play a bunch of new bits and pieces.”

“I actually played Falls really early — 2014 or something — it was in Lorne and I was [performing] in a tent, super-early on in my music career. Psyched to come back, and not only to come back, but to be playing the main stage.”
