Floating festival It’s The Ship deliver their 2016 line-up
For the last two years, cruise festival It’s The Ship has been on a mission to prove just how much fun four days of partying at sea can be. In 2016, Asia’s largest floating festival is coming back for another round and this time, it’s set to be bigger than ever.
It’s The Ship have revealed their 2016 line-up and it’s a star-studded affair. “Seizure music” specialists Knife Party, Swedish troublemakers Dada Life, trance favourite Andrew Rayel and Dutchman Sander van Doorn head-up this year’s bill. Then there’s Aussies in the form of Peking Duk, Benson, Mashd N Kutcher, Joel Fletcher, Marlo and more, plus everyone from Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano to Like A G6 hitmakers Far East Movement.
The cherry on the cake? The ship’s ‘captain’ is none other than David “The Hoff” Hasselhoff.
This year’s festival sets sail from Singapore on November 4, keeping the party going for three nights and four days. It’s not just the music punters have to look forward to: the festival’s Royal Caribbean International cruise liner boasts a rock climbing wall, ice skating rink, mini golf course, video game arcade, full service day spa, 10 pools and whirpools, a casino and 17 different bars, clubs and lounges, meaning you won’t be want for things to do.
Last year It’s The Ship hosted just under 4000 punters from over 60 countries, with close to 400 Australians in on the action. Promoters are expecting this year’s event to sell out, so grab a ticket while you can through the website.
