First INPUT producers’ conference announced for 2014

Ableton Liveschool’s regular conference for aspiring producers, INPUT, is back for 2014 with a stellar line-up of local talent giving away their secrets on songwriting, production, sound design and business. Previous sessions have had Future Classic founder Nathan McLay talking about how to start an indie label, and Emoh Instead of What So Not talking about how to build a successful production career (in the studio and outside of making music).

This time around they’ve got Ableton Live tutor and all round studio master Michael di Francesco (Touch Sensitive) and the multi-talented Oscar Key Sung sharing their production tips, Thomas McAlister of Canyons talking sound design techniques and Modular Records A&R Michael Kucyk answering questions like ‘what exactly does a music publisher do, and why do I need one?’ It all happens at Sydney’s FBi Social on Saturday February 22 – tickets are $35 (and rather limited, as habitués of FBi Social will know).
