Enschway locks in his first Australian headline tour
Sydney bass star Enschway has announced his first ever Australian headline tour.
He’ll hit up venues in most capital cities throughout March and April, with Canberra vocalist and collaborator Turquoise Prince in tow. The run of dates is in support of his upcoming new single, a collaboration with L.A. producer sumthin sumthin titled I’ll Wait, which drops February 17.
Enschway – real name Nic Schweighoffer – soared to the top of the local bass scene in 2017, and with good reason.
He toured with Perth mates Slumberjack, landed himself a slot at Splendour, appeared on OWSLA’s Beats 1 show and even had a shoutout from trap don RL Grime over Twitter. Then there was that fire remix of Slumberjack’s ‘Open Fire’. To cap it off, he signed to tastemaker label Sweat It Out – the home of RÜFÜS and What So Not – and released a huge new EP in Friendschway Vol 2. Oh yeah, and he also landed up the top of our list of locals that will rule 2017.
