With artists like Armin van Buuren, Boys Noize, Ferry Corsten, Krewella and Tommy Trash joining a rollcall of the Australian dance music industry’s biggest names at the Electronic Music Conference in Sydney next week, there was never any doubt that EMC 2013 would be huge. Sure enough, EMC has just unveiled its full conference program and it’s a jam packed with must-attend events.

There’s no shortage of highlights: from the one-on-one discussion with Armin van Buuren through to underground-focussed panel Crossing Over and Keeping Your Cool, the Krewella case study, in-depth looks at trance in 2013, the ‘Australian sound’, how to break through as an artist and the health of labels, plus a MIDI controller masterclass with M4SONIC and the EMC Artist Panel (featuring Destructo, Tommy Trash, Boys Noize, Will Sparks and Ferry Corsten), it’s a truly comprehensive program. All up, there’s over 40 sessions to choose from – take in the full thing on the EMC website now.
Then there’s the parties. EMC will kick off on Monday evening with an opening part at Café Del Mar, with emerging artist showcase EMC Spotlight set for Tuesday night and the huge Boys Noize-helmed closing party locked in for Wednesday at ivy. EMC delegates receive free entry to all of EMC’s program events, as well as free or discounted entry to a week-long program of events all of next week.
