DJ Mag name their top 100 clubs for 2017

Space Ibiza has taken out the top spot in DJ Mag‘s annual poll of the world’s best clubs.

But with Space shutting its doors at the end of the 2016 season – the venue will be rebranded as Hï Ibiza this year, under management of the Ushuaïa Group – it’s the last time the legendary club will snag the honour.

London nightspot Fabric – which was forced by its local council to close in 2016, reopening under stricter conditions two months later – took #2 for 2017, pushing Brazil’s Green Valley down to third place.

As for Berlin’s notorious favourite Berghain? It came in at #12, outranked by the likes of Zouk Singapore, Pacha Ibiza and Washington DC’s Echostage.

One Australian club made the cut in this year’s poll, with Chinese Laundry rounding out the list at #100. With A-list acts like Nina Kraviz, Marcel Dettman and Kölsch all passing through the club in the last year, shout-outs from Flosstradamus and consistently excellent weekly line-ups, it’s not hard to see why Laundry raked in the votes.

You can see the top ten club’s in this year’s poll below; head to the DJ Mag website for the full list.
