Disneyland is hosting a dance music festival called Electroland this July
Dance music has no shortage of — err — “creative” festival venues.
There’s Croatian event Dimensions, which is held inside a centuries-old fort with stages erected in an abandoned moat and a 2000-year-old Roman amphitheatre. Or there’s Innervisions’ Lost in a Moment parties, which have taken over spots like an old military fortress. Sydney even tried (and failed) to stage a festival in a giant waterpark.
But it’s today’s festival announcement that we rate as particularly exciting. This July, Disneyland Paris will host a dance music festival inside the world famous amusement park. It’s called Electroland, and it’s set to be headlined by Steve Aoki.
Australian duo NERVO, French house DJ/producer Michael Calfan and Richard Orlinski will also be stepping up for sets on the night. And it’s not just the music punters have to look forward to – those making the trip will also have access to select Disneyland rides, as well as bars and restaurants. Meaning you could potentially be riding a rollercoaster while Steve Aoki drops Just Hold On.
Tickets for the festival are on sale now for just AUD$91, flights to France will set you back a little bit more.
