Dirty South signs with Astralwerks, announces new album for 2014

Since releasing his debut album Speed Of Life last year, Dragan ‘Dirty South’ Roganovic has kept up a relentless touring schedule, and now the local big-room star has revealed a major milestone planned for 2014 – another album coming via his new home at dance music hotbed Astralwerks.

Home to dance powerhouses like the Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim and Swedish House Mafia, the Universal Music Group imprint has scored some other big name signings of late, including Deadmau5, Porter Robinson, Mat Zo and Duke Dumont.

With the Astralwerks team behind it, the new Dirty South album will “span a multitude of genres,” according to the producer’s official statement. The LP will be accompanied by a short film, written, directed and shot by Roganovic.

We’ll get our first preview of the album in August, when the lead single Unbreakable drops. Until then, fans can hope to hear some of that genre-spanning new music at Dirty South’s many upcoming shows this season, including Tomorrowland’s 10th anniversary this month.
