Chinese Laundry June headliners: Digweed, Caspa and more
Need somewhere to get away from the winter chill? Sydney institution Chinese Laundry has you covered with another bumper month of headliners set to heat up the dancefloor in June. Whether you’re a bass fiend, a lover of melody or a techno enthusiast, there’s plenty to get excited about.
The big news is of course that there are not one but two Garden Parties happening in June. On June 1st dubstep mainstay Caspa will be launching his new Alpha Omega album, ably accompanied by MC Dynamite on the mic, and Perth’s Shockone, who is riding high off the success of his debut album Universus will also be joining in the low end bonanza.
June 8th sees the legendary John Digweed step up for an afternoon and evening of quality progressive, tech-house and techno, before it’s on to Laundry for the after party with ‘The Wizard’ Jeff Mills and CLR head honcho Chris Liebing. Oh and did we mention that weekend is the club’s 17th birthday? Huge.
And that’s just the first two weeks of June. For the rest of the month you’ve got the likes of local favourites Doctor Werewolf and What So Not, as well as up and coming international stars such as Xilent and returning Laundry favourite Jody Wisternoff.
