Boys Noize and Tiga get a remix you need to hear

A couple of months back, we rejoiced when electro and techno dons Tiga and Boys Noize got together to release their first ever collaborative work, the two-track EP 100 featuring single 100 and B-side Jam#1.

100 is a low-slung burner that brings together Boys Noize’s trademark analogue acid flavours with Tiga’s flamboyant electro sass. And now, 100 has picked up the remix it deserves from New York’s finest rising house stars The Martinez Brothers, who give the original a hypnotic, looping techy rework for their Keep It 100 Mix, premiered this week by Mixmag.

As Tiga puts it, the Bronx brothers are “kinda [his] favourite DJs”, and “this mix is a perfect example of what they do so well… Just the quiet confidence to ride a groove without any gimmicks, and keep riding it, and then slowly, before you even know it…it’s the most boring/exciting, incredible bomb of the night.” The Martinez Brothers’ Keep It 100 Mix is out on 17 July, but you can scroll down below to listen to it.
