Your boy Paces is back with the brand new single ‘Savage’

Gold Coast hero Paces has dropped the huge new single Savage, the first piece of new music from producer Mikey Perry since he released his debut album, Vacation, last year.

“The tunes I’ve been writing lately have been a bit heavier and a bit more danceable than my previous stuff,” Perry says of Savage. “I’ve been playing more festivals and I think that’s been reflected in the music.”

Featuring on Savage is Melbourne producer and vocalist NYNE, someone Paces is tipping for big things. “When I first heard NYNE on a track I had to stop the car and make sure I got her name so that I could reach out. It was the same feeling I had when I first heard Jess Kent, KUČKA, and Tkay Maidza,” he said. “She’s going to be huge and I hope that this track helps people to discover what a great talent she is.”

2016 was a big year for Paces: He released Vacation off the back of the chart-conquering single 1993 (No Chill), brought in Guy Sebastian for his much-hyped Like A Version, played a heap of festivals including Splendour in the Grass, and to cap it all off he picked up the inthemix award for Breakthrough Artists Of The Year.
