After a sold out run of shows in 2011, Bonobo is returning to play at the Falls and Southbound festivals plus sideshows in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
Bonobo will perform at the Sydney Opera House on January 6, head to Melbourne on January 8 for a show at the Palace Theatre in Melbourne with support from Hiatus Kaiyote, and finally a show in Adelaide with Oisima and Flamingo.
Brighton’s Simon Green has been creating downtempo electronica as Bonobo since 1999 for the Tru Thoughts and Ninja Tunes labels. His new album The North Borders – the fifth Bonobo record – features collaborations with neo-soul queen Erykah Badu, Swedish singer Cornelia ,and Cinematic Orchestra collaborator Grey Reverend. Szjerdene, who lends her vocals to two tracks on The North Borders, will join Bonobo on his Australian tour.
