Beyond the Valley will be bigger than ever in 2016
When it debuted in 2014, New Year’s festival Beyond the Valley ran for two days. When it came back in 2015, it upsized to three days. Now promoters have announced that when Beyond the Valley returns to Victoria this summer, it will be as a four-day event.
Beyond the Valley has today announced that this year’s festival will run from December 28 until January 1. Music on the first day of the event will be provided by local artists playing on the special Central Park stage, which will be located amongst the camping grounds and away from the main festival site.
Organisers have also announced that their year’s line-up is shaping up to be “the biggest yet” and will feature a mix of local and international artists, some making their Australian debut at BTV. While Beyond the Valley haven’t given any hints as to who’s on the bill, you can expect it to be a dance music heavy affair – previous line-ups have included Boys Noize, Flight Facilities, Jamie xx, Dillon Francis and RL Grime.
Four-day tickets to Beyond the Valley will go on sale from Friday June 17 and organisers advise that they’re “extremely limited”.
