Behold the immense line-up for EMC Play’s showcase events

For just $29, you can buy your way into the hottest event of the summer. EMC Play – the Electronic Music Conference’s series of night time showcase events – has just unveiled its huge line-up and you can see it all for less than the cost of a case of beer.

Over 120 artists will feature across four EMC Play venues, at special showcases curated by Australia’s best labels, crews, and collectives. Future Classic, Sweat It Out, Astral People, Plastic World, Lucky Entertainment, Konkrete, etcetc, Pilerats, October Records, Die High, Purple Sneakers, Halfway Crooks, Select Music, UNDR Ctrl, Audiopaxx and #JDFutureLegends will all be hosting showcase events, spread across Soho, World Bar The Kings Cross Hotel and the brand new club X54.

And as for the artists? Well, the list of names on the bill is long: Wave Racer, SAFIA, Basenji, Cosmo’s Midnight, Cassian, Carmada, Indian Summer, HWLS, Kilter, LDRU, Rainbow Chan, Tigerlily, Simon Caldwell, Touch Sensitive and UV boi will all be playing, to cherrypick just a few of the names on offer. In keeping with the Electronic Music Conference’s ‘Discovery’ theme, EMC Play is bringing the world’s biggest talent buyers to Sydney for the event, including Coachella booker Johnny Shockey, Electric Daisy Carnival founder Donnie Estopinal, AM Only booking agent Callender, Steve Aoki’s manager Matt Colon and Windish Agency booker Latane Hughes.

Early-bird tickets to EMC Play are on sale now to the general public for $29 a pop and give you full access to both showcase nights; full price tickets will go on sale from November 18 for $49 + BF.
