Australian legends top lineup for California’s Lightning in a Bottle
California’s Lightning in a Bottle festival confirmed back in December that it would returning its new home at the San Antonio Recreation Area in Bradley, CA for another Memorial Day Weekend long weekend (May 21-25) of music, art and workshops, and now they’ve dropped an impressive line-up to match the stunning surrounds and utopian vibes.
Local sensation Flume heads the roster, taking his much-loved live show back to the States for the first time this year (before playing Governors Ball and Bonnaroo), alongside fellow Aussies Thomas Jack and Hermitude. Elsewhere, SBTRKT, Tycho, RL Grime, Odesza, Animal Collective alumni Panda Bear, prog legend John Digweed and AlunaGeorge also top a stacked line-up of house, disco, bass and techno names – check out the full line-up on the poster below.
Besides the eclectic line-up, the organisers have also made new additions to the family-friendly festival. According to their Facebook event page, such additions include “large-scale shade structures, upgraded boutique camping packages, bigger installations, and a new and improved festival layout design.” Tickets and camping packages are on sale now, starting at US$205, at the festival website.
